-Check the consulates website for the right visa to apply for, for childbirth so that you apply for the correct visa. for example, you may need a medical visa instead of a tourist visa. Be as candid as you can when filling those forms because trust me in all cases, The Truth Shall Set You Free!!!
-If you already have a valid visa for tourism, notify the consulate that you require a change of intent form as the reason you wish to travel has now changed to child bearing, trust me this little action could save you a chain of dramatic events.
-Carry hard copies of documents backing up your intent of travelling with you in your hand luggage. Do not make the mistake of leaving it in your checked in luggage as you wont be able to reach it before going through your interview at the point of entry (POE).
